Although I have not installed the hair yet I can attest that IM never disappointed when it comes to this company. If I’ve ever had an issue they’ve addressed my concerns. The hair is great quality and I use it make wigs. I have hair from this company that’s 2-5 years old that is still beautiful today. The customer service is great as well.

I have been a customer for many years, I have recommended you guys to a lot of my friends, because the hair was simply amazing. The last 2 orders i have noticed less hair coming in, in every bundle. I decided to give it another chance and it will be my last.. The hair came in smelling horrible, all the other times it would come in smelling nice and clean sometimes a little damp which was fine with me. I ordered 4 bundles and it was less hair in every bundle, not fair when you spend so much money.. The quality of the hair is not the same.. I’m sorry but i won’t be buying from you guys again, which breaks my heart...

What is Remy Hair?

Remy hair is the highest grade of human hair available on the market. It is collected from the head of a donor in such a manner that the cuticles are not stripped, and are aligned in the same direction from the base to the tip of the hair strand. This hair is collected from a donor while in a ponytail – and does not contain any mix of synthetic fibers. Remy hair does not mat or tangle easily, and has a natural appearance.

What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin hair is remy hair that has never been chemically treated at the time of collection. Chemical treatments can refer to perming, bleaching, dyeing or coloring.This hair is collected from a single donor, with the cuticles running in the same direction. Virgin hair will have split ends, and a non-uniform curl pattern. At Indianhair.net, we source virgin hair from donors at temples in India.

What makes Indian Hair Unique?

Indian hair is versatile, naturally silky and lustrous – and blends well with African American hair. It can be obtained in multiple textures – such as straight, wavy or curly, and does not need to undergo harsh chemical treatments to attain a particular style. The diversity in Indian hair textures and its naturally dark color makes it a great fit for the hair weaves industry.

How is Indian Hair sourced?

In India, hair is donated at temples as part of a religious ritual. Individuals who participate in this process do so voluntarily as a sacrifice to the presiding deity, and without any expectations of a monetary compensation. Temple authorities then sell the collected hair to extension manufacturers, and the funds collected from the shaved hair are used for the well-being of the community that participates in this process. In addition, hair extension companies provide much needed employment opportunities for many within the area.
Before the hair extension industry came into being, this hair was merely discarded as trash. The next time you buy Indian hair - you can do so with a clear conscience, and with the understanding that your purchase is also helping those who are less fortunate.

What is Non-remy Hair?

Non-remy hair is fallen hair - that is collected from various sources such as the floor of temples, salons, and door-to-door brush hair collection. This hair collected is subjected to an acid bath, whichcompletely strips the cuticles that are all in different directions during collection. After the acid bath, the hair is dipped in silicone, which makes it lustrous and temporarily “tangle-free”. After a couple of washes, the silicone wears off – causing matting and tangling of the hair. Non-remy hair is cheap hair that does not last long, and is difficult to maintain.
At Indianhair.net, we strongly recommend the purchase of remy hair – which is comparatively more expensive, but survives the test of longevity, while being easier to maintain.

How Long Do Our Weaves last?

Since we use only 100% virgin remy Indian hair in the manufacturing of weaves and extensions, our hair can last as long as 2 years with proper maintenance.
